In one of my group coaching sessions, a great question came up that we discussed: What are some tips for finding time for having personal time with God in busy seasons? I'm in a season where I'm struggling to find the time.
Spending time with God doesn't have to be an hour or two in a prayer closet! 5 minutes some days is all you need. Prioritizing your relationship with God is so important. Just like you can't really go deeper with your spouse or your best friend if you don't spend time with them, you can't with the Lord. Let's talk about 5 ways for finding that time.

In part two of my interview with Sandy Cooper and Mary K Tiller on their podcast, Writing Off Social, we chat about how my business has grown since leaving social media and what I'm doing to make it happen, as well as the response I get from other entrepreneurs in the online space when I tell them I'm not on social media. I also offer some encouragement and practical steps you can take if you, too, want to leave social media but are afraid to do so.
I wanted to bring this conversation to you because I thought it would be an encouragement to you to do social media in a way that feels good for you--or not at all. Sandy, Mary K, and I are all completely off social media for business, and I'd say we're in agreement that we no longer feel like we're missing out, we actually feel empowered to grow in new ways!

I left social media in January of 2021 for life and business, and I haven't looked back. And, honestly, I wrestled with so many fears and questions as I hit the pause button on social, like: How will I stay in the loop? How will I connect with other writers or with my readers? How will I sell my books? What if it doesn’t work?
Well, today we're going to talk about how I chose to face those fears and grappled with each of those questions I just mentioned and how I overcame them. One of the most pain-pointed questions I hear from other entrepreneurs who have a great product to sell and a powerful message to share is that they can’t figure out how to grow their audience quickly. It seems like they are putting themselves out there, doing all the right work, trying to grow the thing, but all they hear are crickets.
And that’s frustrating! I remember just a few short years ago being in the same boat, knowing God was calling me to this venture but feeling completely lost because it just didn’t seem to get traction no matter what I was doing. I felt like something was wrong with me or with my messaging or maybe even that I needed to get my ears checked because I wasn’t hearing God correctly.
I mean, do you feel that too?
Today Kristin Dronchi and I will be working through how to leverage other people’s audiences to grow your audience and email list through the power of collaboration specifically with larger events such as bundle promotions and virtual conferences. We’ll touch on how these types of collaborations can help you get off social or at least stop being a slave to it, and we’ll walk through the first steps to take if you want to host an event yourself.

We're at the end of chapter 10 of Nehemiah, and there's a list of all the names of Israelites who sealed their names with the Lord. Then they go on to say what they promise to do for the Lord.
They are remembering his grace and his mercy throughout the whole time from leaving Egypt until now. They're remembering what the Lord did for their parents and grandparents. They want to be all in with God.
Let's talk about what this looks like and how we can be all in too.
